What payment options are available?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept checks or money orders. Please note that all checks must clear prior to items shipping.
We also offer layaway. Please contact your sales representative for more details. Please note that items do not ship until they are paid in full.
Is shipping included in the product price?
No. All arcade games, pinball machines, furniture and other oversized items are shipped via motor freight (18-wheeler). All other items are shipped via UPS. We offer flat rate shipping on all of our products. The shipping rate for items being shipped via motor freight includes residential delivery and lift gate service.
Does motor freight service include inside delivery and set-up?
No. The shipping quote we provide is for curb-side delivery. Please contact us if you would like to arrange for inside delivery and set-up at an additional fee.
Will the motor freight company deliver when I am not at home?
No. The motor freight company will contact you via the phone numbers provided to arrange a time that is convenient for you to meet them during business hours. The motor freight company usually contacts you the day before delivery and provides you with a 2 to 3 hour window. Please note that motor freight companies only deliver Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What if the item is damaged during shipping?
If there is visible damage upon inspection of the item, DO NOT ACCEPT THE DELIVERY! Refuse the delivery, make note of the damage on the bill of lading and contact us. If the damage is not noted, the motor freight company may reject the claim. Please note that if you accept the delivery when there is visible damage, neither the motor freight company nor our company will be responsible for any damage claims.
What if there is no visible damage, but once opened damage was found?
Concealed damage happens on rare occasions. When it does happen, it is very important that you document it with pictures and notes. A claim still needs to be filed with the motor freight company, but we will assist you with the claim and work to insure that you are a satisfied customer. You must file this claim within 48 hours of delivery. If the claim is not filed in a timely manner, the motor freight company will not accept the claim. We will either have the item returned to us for a full refund minus the shipping charges or we will repair the item.
Are all items in stock and ready to ship?
No. We keep a large selection of in stock items and will ship those items within one to two business days. Some items will have to be special ordered and can take two to three weeks to ship depending on item availability.
Do you offer delivery in NC at a reduced rate?
Arcade Games 4U is located in Raleigh, NC and can offer local delivery at a reduced rate. We also have a professional pool table installer that can assist you with your new table. Please contact your sales representative to work out the delivery details.
Do items come with a warranty?
Most of our new items come with a manufacturer’s warranty. However, since we sell a variety of new and used items, warranties vary. Please check the item description closely for specific warranty details.
Do you accept trades?
Yes, we accept trades from all previous customers. Please contact your sales representative to arrange an appraisal. Please note that we are only able to offer up to 50% trade in value towards the purchase of another item we sell.
Can I install my own pool table?
You can certainly install your own pool table; however, we strongly recommend that you have a professional install it for you. Please contact your sales representative to discuss your installation options. |
